WhiteSeasons was founded in 2002 as an online community of Harry Potter Fans. During the first 2 months of WhiteSeasons the 2 of the 3 members left since they found better Harry Potter Communities that where actually designed and ran by a "Better" administrator. Soon after Dreagen realized that he was the only person left he then changed the format to a Microsoft Office for Begginers group. That last about one week when Dreagen decided that he was going to leave. The community was now dead. In late 2003, Dreagen was asked to create a book club for his friends in Germany. December 2003 WhiteSeasons became a book club for Rhein Main AFB members. They soon had an explosion of Members and within a few short months reached 75 members. Soon the Members were asking for more sections of the community to be added. Early in 2005 with over 150 Members jakewobegon posted information about a new online turn based game. Soon after that all discussion was about this game that soon WhiteSeasons Died.

This is still a controversial subject, and in fact, jakewobegon wrote a book telling his side of the story entitled Sure, Blame It On The Dog. He was even interviewed on the Maury Povich show regarding the controversial subject of the demise of WhiteSeasons.
