What is this site about?
It's a place to write about yourself and people you know and connect your page with other people.
What's the difference between that and other social networks?
On this site, anyone can edit anyone's profile.
Won't there be problems with what people post?
There are always problems when you let people post anything, the community will have to clean up after themselves and each edit is stored in the wiki history making each individual accountable for their own posts.
Who do I contact if I want something changed or removed?
You can edit the page yourself, so you don't need to contact anyone else if you want something changed or removed.
Making a Profile
- To make a profile type your friend's full name into the search box.
- If there is already an article by that name, check to see if it is for the person you want to write about. If not, then add to your friend's name, using city or date of birth until you get an unused page.
- Once you have an empty page to edit, click on the edit tab and write about your subject. Make sure to add important information such as birthday and location.
- Add a Family section and make a list of family members (you can make a list by using *[[Person's Name]] for each link.
- Add a Friends section and make a list of friends(you can make a list by using *[[Person's Name]] for each link.
- When you are finished make you should place the profile in a category. Categories are used for any groupings such as location, employers and more. You can place the profile in a category by adding [[Category:Category Name]] to the end of the profile. For example, [[Category:Los Angeles, California]]. Note: You can add as many categories to the profile as you would like.
